2. Scope
These terms apply to every order placed on our website by a consumer. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and accept these terms.

3. Products
We describe and photograph our items with great care. However, slight differences in colour may appear depending on your screen or lighting. Our offers are valid while stocks last.

4. Prices
Our prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT. Delivery is free. The price that applies is the one shown at the time of your order. If there is an obvious pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the order; we will let you know and refund you in full.

5. Orders
Your order is confirmed once payment has been approved. You will then receive a confirmation email summarising your purchase. If an item turns out to be unavailable after you have ordered, we will let you know and refund you in full.

6. Payment
We accept debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. Payments are secure and processed by our payment providers: we never have access to your full card details.

7. Delivery
Delivery times and terms are set out in our Shipping policy. Items remain at our risk until they have been delivered to you.

8. Cancellations and returns
You have a 14-day right to cancel and, beyond that, our 30-day returns period. Full details are set out in our Returns and refunds policy.

9. Your statutory rights
All our items are covered by your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015: goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If an item is faulty, contact us at info@hartleyyork.com and we will offer a repair, replacement or refund.

10. Liability
We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse of the items or by not following the care instructions. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

12. Intellectual property
The text, logos and visuals on this website are protected. Reproduction without prior written permission is not permitted.

13. Customer service and complaints

14. Governing law
These terms are governed by Belgian law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the UK, which continue to apply to you as a UK resident.
